Transparency Report

Version 2026-05-03

Pre-launch placeholder. This page documents the transparency reporting cadence Aura commits to. Once the platform is operating with real users, we will publish quarterly numbers here under the categories below.

What we publish (and how often)

  • Quarterly: aggregate volume of takedown requests received, processed, and resolved (split by category: CSAM, non-consensual deepfake, real-person-no-consent, underage-appearance, copyright/DMCA, other).
  • Quarterly: median and p95 time-to-resolution for takedown requests (target: median < 4 hours, p95 < 24 hours).
  • Quarterly: total CSAM hits scanned and reported to NCMEC. We do not publish content or any subject identifiers.
  • Quarterly: account terminations broken down by reason category (hard prohibitions, repeat strikes, fraud, voluntary).
  • Quarterly: law-enforcement requests received, by jurisdiction (US, MX, other) and type (subpoena, court order, warrant, MLAT, emergency disclosure). We do not publish details that could compromise active investigations.
  • Annually: independent moderation audit results (third-party review of policy enforcement consistency).
  • Annually: data security incidents and breach notifications.

What we do not publish

  • Anything that would identify a specific user, creator, or report subject.
  • Content of takedowns or reports (beyond categorical aggregation).
  • Details of active investigations or legal holds.

Why a transparency report

Adult-content platforms have historically operated as black boxes. Aura's position is the opposite: clear policies, visible enforcement, public numbers. This is what we owe both to creators (who depend on consistent moderation) and to the public (who deserve to know how platforms hosting sensitive content actually behave).

Publication channel

Transparency reports are published on this page within 30 days of each quarter close. Subscribe to transparency@aura.app with subject "Subscribe" to receive each report by email.

Independent review

Once Aura serves more than 10,000 monthly users, we commit to an annual audit by a third-party trust-and-safety firm. The auditor will publish findings on policy enforcement consistency and recommendations. We will publish their report verbatim, including criticisms.
