Safety at Aura

Aura is the only adult platform we know of that is structurally synthetic — every piece of content is required to be AI-generated. That gives us a different safety posture than camera-based platforms, but it doesn't make us hands-off. Here's how we operate.

Pre-publication

Every uploading creator passes identity verification (Yoti) and signs an AI-attestation, no-real-persons attestation, and no-minors attestation per upload.
Every asset is scanned against known-CSAM hash databases (Thorn Safer + PhotoDNA) before publication. Anything flagged is blocked, the creator is suspended, and the case is referred to NCMEC.
Posts the scanner is uncertain about go to manual review before they appear publicly.

Post-publication

Anyone can report a piece of content at /report. We open a ticket with a 24-hour SLA — even the reporter doesn't need an Aura account.
Take It Down Act compliance: we remove non-consensual intimate imagery within 24 hours. Subjects can request takedown without payment or paperwork at /takedown.
Creators with repeat verified violations are permanently banned and their on-chain payout wallet is denylisted across the platform.

For viewers

Viewers under 18 are blocked at the door (age gate + ID-based verification in regulated jurisdictions).
Wallet addresses are pseudonymous. We don't share your address with third-party advertisers.
Block creators or hide content from your feed at any time.

For creators

We protect your earnings: CCBill chargebacks killed a generation of adult creators. Crypto txs are final.
Stalking-by-fan is a real problem. Set a monthly cap on tips, mute keywords, block wallets — all coming in v0.6.
KYC data is encrypted at rest and never shared. We share with Yoti for re-verification only.
